Victoria Falls is on the bucket list of many people all around the globe and draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. In full flow it is the biggest single curtain of falling water in the world at 1708 meters long.
The water plunges 100 meters in places, into a deep and winding gorge, full of turbulent rapids and whirlpools. It is one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls and it really is quite a sight to behold.
What is more is that it is situated in the very hub of numerous world class Game Parks, so combining a visit to this remarkable waterfall with a safari, makes for the most memorable of holidays.

Victoria Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world, lies in Southern Africa, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. The falls are fed by the Zambezi River. This is locally known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya‘ which means the ‘Smoke that Thunders‘. The tour will include visiting 19 different viewpoints along the route, taking in the Devil’s Cataract, the Main Falls and the Horse Shoe Falls among others. Guests will be picked up from the hotel/lodge and proceed to the falls for their tour. The tour takes about 3 hours, and upon finishing the tour, guests will be taken back to the lodge.
Boma Dinner & Drum Show Enjoy an unforgettable evening with a delicious 4 course traditional dinner followed by an interactive African drumming experience. On arrival at the boma you will be presented with a traditional robe to get you into the mood. Prepare to be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere. Aromas of local dishes and game meat on the barbeque fill the restaurant. The Boma is partially open to the African skies and offers a unique experience. The food at the Boma is cooked and served in the style and quantity of a lavish traditional feast. For something fun: Eating a dried Mopane Worm has become a tradition at the Boma. If you are brave enough to eat one you will receive a certificate to prove it. After dinner the real fun begins. You will be treated to an interactive traditional African drum show. You will witness outstanding performances by traditional singers and dancers.

Guests will be picked up from your hotel/lodge at 6:00 am and proceed to Hwange National Park. You will travel along Bulawayo Road and drive for about 2 hrs 30 min (180km). On arrival at the park, you will have breakfast, followed by a morning game drive. Hwange National Park is the biggest and most visited park in Zimbabwe. It is very popular for the great number of animals that are seen here, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, wild dogs, impalas, giraffes and many different species of birds. After the morning game drive, you will have lunch and then do another afternoon game drive. You will have plenty of opportunities to spot a wide range of animals, as there are many waterholes dotted around the park from where animals can be seen clearly. When the game drive is finished, it is time to relax at Hwange Safari Lodge.

The Zambezi sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippos, crocodiles, and elephants as well as enjoy the many different bird species. Guests will be picked up from the hotel/lodge at 3:30 pm and proceed to Zambezi River, you will be brought back after the activity which ends 6:30 pm.
