• What to Know Before You Book • Passport Required: This tour includes cross-border travel between Zambia and Botswana. Please ensure your passport is valid and that you have the necessary visas (we recommend a KAZA Univisa if eligible). • Travel Insurance Required for Rafting: All rafting guests must have active travel insurance that covers adventure activities. • Moderate Fitness Required: Participants must be able to walk in and out of Batoka Gorge (with porter support). Not suitable for people with serious mobility issues or heart conditions. • Minimum Age: The rafting activity is only suitable for travelers aged 15 and above. • Rafting Season: White-water rafting is available year-round. However, the low water season (August–January) offers the best rapids and the longest rafting runs. We operate half-day rafting trips throughout the year, even during high water periods when full-day trips may be limited. • Luggage & Packing: Bring sunscreen, swimwear, quick-dry clothing, closed shoes for rafting, and a small daypack. • Border Transfers: Our team will assist with immigration and customs processes at Kazungula Border to ensure a smooth transition between countries.
