Day 1 Arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, Transfer to Hwange Safari Lodge

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our staff and transferred to Hwange National Park in comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles. The journey covers approximately 170 km, taking you through parts of the national park and local villages, providing opportunities to observe wildlife and interact with local communities along the way. Upon arrival at Hwange Safari Lodge, you will be promptly checked in, ready to relax and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 2 Hwange Full-Day Game Drive

This thrilling adventure takes guests deep into Zimbabwe’s largest national park, where breathtaking wildlife encounters and stunning landscapes await. At 8:00 am, guests are picked up from their hotel and transferred to Hwange National Park for a full-day game drive across its expansive 14,600 square kilometers (5,640 square miles). Hwange is celebrated for its vast savannahs, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife, including the iconic Big Five. Midday, guests enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness. The game drive continues into the afternoon, concluding around 4:00 pm, after which guests are transferred back to their hotel, completing a full and unforgettable day immersed in Africa’s untamed beauty.

Day 3 Transfer to Victoria Falls, Sunset Cruise, Boma Dinner & Drum Show

At 10:00 am, you will transfer to Victoria Falls, where you will be promptly checked in at the Rainbow Hotel. At 4:00 pm, embark on a two-hour afternoon cruise along the majestic Zambezi River, ending at sunset. This quintessential experience offers relaxation, breathtaking views, and opportunities to spot wildlife along one of Africa’s most iconic rivers. After the cruise, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel. At 7:00 pm, enjoy an unforgettable evening at The Boma Dinner & Drum Show, a vibrant cultural experience featuring traditional African cuisine, rhythmic music, and interactive entertainment that immerses guests in the rich heritage and lively spirit of Southern Africa. The evening concludes with a transfer back to the hotel at 09:30 pm.

Day 4 Tour of Victoria Falls

At 10:00 am, you will be picked up for a two-hour guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls. Renowned not only for its sheer size but also for its sensory impact, the Falls immerse visitors in the thunderous roar of cascading water and the refreshing mist that drifts through the surrounding rainforest. To complete the day, you will experience the Helicopter Flight of Angels, a thrilling aerial adventure offering a bird’s-eye view of the Falls. From above, the mighty Victoria Falls unfolds as a breathtaking sheet of water plunging into the gorge, providing an unforgettable perspective of this natural wonder

Day 5 Chobe Full-Day Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Chobe National Park, located in northern Botswana, is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. Renowned for its remarkable biodiversity and dense populations of animals, it offers unparalleled opportunities to observe a wide variety of species in their natural habitats. Over two days, guests will enjoy extensive game drives through the park’s diverse ecosystems and a scenic boat cruise along the Chobe River, witnessing elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Each evening, guests are transferred to Travelodge in Kasane for overnight accommodation, completing an immersive and memorable safari experience in one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations.

Day 6 Chobe Full Day

This is a continuation of the Chobe National Park Tour. The tour starts with an early morning game drive, starting at 6am. The early morning game drive targets the cats when they are still super active. Guests will be transferred back to the Hotel at 0930 am for breakfast leading up-to lunch. At 3pm, guests are picked up for a sunset cruise ending at sunset, thereafter, guests are transferred back to Hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 7 Transfer From Kasane to Elephant Sands

After breakfast, guests check out of Travelodge and begin the journey to Elephant Sands, covering approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) from Chobe (Kasane). The drive typically takes around 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way, with arrival at Elephant Sands expected around lunchtime. After lunch, guests embark on an afternoon game drive through the surrounding wilderness, concluding at sunset. In the evening, guests gather around an open fire at the lodge, enjoying a magical setting as they witness the unforgettable spectacle of elephants coming to drink from the waterhole and wallow in the mud—an intimate and mesmerizing wildlife experience. Guests then retire to their lodges for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 8 Transfer from Elephant Sands to Makgadikgadi Pans

After breakfast, you will check out from Elephant Sands and begin a 150 km journey to Planet Baobab Lodge in the Makgadikgadi region. At 2:00 pm, guests are picked up for an afternoon exploration of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and an unforgettable meerkat encounter. The salt pans present a surreal landscape of endless white plains beneath vast skies, while the meerkats, curious and friendly, often climb onto guests for a closer view. During the dry season, the pans are ideal for quad biking and stargazing, whereas the wet season transforms the area into a vibrant oasis filled with flamingos and other wildlife. Guests return to Planet Baobab Lodge in the evening, with expected arrival around 8:00 pm, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 9 Transfer to Maun

After breakfast, at approximately 10:30 am, guests are transferred to Sedia Hotel in Maun, covering a distance of about 200 km. The scenic journey offers opportunities to spot wildlife along the way, with ostriches being a particularly common and delightful sight. Upon arrival in Maun, guests are checked in at Sedia Hotel, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 10 Okavango Delta Tour

On the tenth day, you will explore the magnificent Okavango Delta, a vast inland wetland in Botswana where the Okavango River fans out into the Kalahari Desert. Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity, the Delta is home to elephants, hippos, lions, and countless bird species. Your adventure includes a guided walking safari, offering an intimate encounter with the flora and fauna of the Delta. Later, you will experience a mokoro excursion—a traditional dugout canoe expertly navigated by local guides using long poles to push through the shallow channels. Gliding silently along these waterways, you gain a close-up view of aquatic wildlife, birds, and the lush vegetation, all while learning about the Delta from the perspective of the local mokoro polers. This peaceful and immersive experience offers a truly unique way to connect with the heart of the Okavango Delta.

Day 11 Transfer to Maun International Airport

On the eleventh day, you have the opportunity to relax, reflect, and relive the highlights of the past ten unforgettable days. This is also the perfect time to participate in optional activities of your choice, whether for adventure, relaxation, or cultural experiences. Depending on your flight schedule, you will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure, concluding your remarkable safari journey through southern Africa.
