The ultimate way to experience Kariba & Matusadona is from the water, you get an idea of the scale of the wilderness and all the animals come down to drink and graze the grassy shoreline. Kariba weather is balmy year-round, and the lake generates catabatic winds in the evenings which means very few mosquitos. There really is no downside, it’s a wonder it’s taken us so long to figure this out,,
